Famima's Efforts to Support Children with Cancer

FamilyMart, a major convenience store chain, is actively involved in supporting children with cancer. The "Lemonade for Everyone" project, launched last year, is a groundbreaking initiative in which children with cancer themselves are involved in product development, and a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these products is used to promote understanding of childhood cancer.

Launch of "Lemonade for Everyone" Project

The project began with the picture book "Boku wa Lemonade Ya-san" (I am a Lemonade Shop), which depicts children with cancer opening a lemonade stand. After reading the book, FamilyMart President Kensuke Hosomi was so impressed that he decided to launch a project to support children with cancer.

Product development co-created with children

FamilyMart formed the "Familemo Club" with children with cancer to develop products together. Through repeated trial and error, we completed an original lemonade by actively incorporating the opinions of the children.

The second "Everybody's Lemonade: Pink Lemonade" is now available!

Last year's "Lemonade for Everyone" was sold out after a great success. This year, "Everybody's Lemonade Pink Lemonade" will be released as the second product. The drink is made with domestically produced lemon juice and guava juice to create a refreshing taste that is easy for even children to drink.
